If you like dragons and are willing to draw by yourself, this is the workshop for you. Learn the parts of the dragon and how to make drawings that look great on the page. (90min / level: beginner – intermediate)

    • Let’s Draw Cute Animals

Tuesday 5th Sep 4:15-5:45pm at Redmond Community Centre

Do you like Japanese Kawaii characters such as Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma or Pikachu? This workshop practices drawing cute animal characters step by step. Try various cute animals and draw your own animal character in colour! (90min / level: beginner – elementary)

    • Manga Figure – Proportions and the 3rd dimension

Tuesday 29th Aug 6:00-8:00pm at Redmond Community Centre

This session is for the people who don’t have the confidence to draw full figures, or who can’t draw the body except by copying. We will teach human proportions, body parts and three dimensional skills: they may help you to draw human bodies your own, then practice portraying them from all angles (intermediate)

    • Manga Figure – Poses and Movements

Tuesday 5th Sep 6:00-8:00pm at Redmond Community Centre

This touches upon on the goals of the previous class but from completely different approach, so people can join also from this session. We will practice negative space drawing and quick movement sketches, which will help you to plan your drawing effectively. People who are struggling to draw dynamic poses may benefit from this session. (intermediate)

Monday, 24th 10:15 – 11:45 at Redmond Community Centre

Do you like Manga? Are you interested in Japanese culture? This workshop will help you join the world of drawing Manga. We teach how to draw Manga step by step using English and Japanese vocabularies. Get a taste of a new language, try Manga drawing, and understand more about Japanese Culture! (any level)

Tuesday, 25th 10:15 – 11:45 at Redmond Community Centre

Can you draw human faces confidently? Do you know how to draw faces in the Manga style? This workshop teaches how to draw Manga faces, their proportion, emotions and variations. It isn’t difficult, and you may find it fun to draw different faces and expressions yourself! (any level)

Wednesday, 26th 10:15 – 11:45 at Redmond Community Centre

Do you know the ‘Chibi’ manga style? Chibi’s have a very big head and big eyes for a cute look! This workshop teaches the ‘Chibi’ drawing style for making greeting cards drawing on your own! You will use Comic Markers and other materials for the decoration. Design original cards with Manga, send it to your family or friends! (any level)
