Manga Drawing Summer Camps for Children
Do you love Manga & Anime and want to draw the characters better?
In this drawing camp our Japanese tutor Keroko will teach you Manga figure drawing techniques step by step. Learn to draw exciting Manga characters, or brush up your existing techniques. Visit with your manga friends and spend creative time with us!
(*Exact class contents may vary slightly by student progress and/or specific requests. These camps are aim to improve children’s drawing skills and are not aiming to making comic strips.)
Camp 1: Manga Drawing one step up! (entry level)
The topics including: Japanese Manga style, Manga figure, Chibi, body proportions, eyes, hands, clothes, emotions, poses, shadows, colouring
Date: 1st, 2nd 3rd Aug 2018 (Wed – Fri) – 9.30am-12.30pm, 3 hours for 3 days
Venue: The Redmond Community Centre (Kayani Avenue N4 2HF)
Age: 8 – 15 years old
Level: entry
Price: £60 (*with basic materials supply)
Camp 2: Manga Drawing one step up! (intermediate)
The topics including: Manga figure, proportion, body types, foreshortening, perspectives, background, composition, quick sketch, gesture drawing, inking, colouring
Date: 20th, 21st, 22nd Aug 2018 (Mon – Wed) – 1pm – 4pm, 3 hours for 3 days
Venue: Islington Arts Factory (2 Parkhurst Rd N7 0SF)
Age: 10 – 17 years old
Level: intermediate
Price: £60 (*with basic materials supply)
Summer Manga & Craft Workshops for Children
Single day workshops are also running on Wednesdays (at Hornsey Vale Community Centre) and Thursdays (Yummy Yummy in my Tummy).
All workshops are for (8-15 years old) and required for registration.
